After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Dr. Sharmila Srinivasan completed her medical school at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. This was followed by her transitional internship at United Health Services hospital in New York and Ophthalmology Residency at Bronx-Albert Einstein College of Medicine. 

Dr. Sharmila Srinivasan further advanced her specialty training by doing her Medical and Surgical Retina fellowship at Retina Specialists in West Virginia and at National Retina Institute in Maryland.

Having practiced for a number of years, Dr. Srinivasan decided to open her own practice to help the community locally.
Her inspiration and drive comes from her mother (a heart surgeon), her sister-one of the leading breast cancer radiologist in the country, her beloved late father (an internist) and her young children.

Dr. Srinivasan is affiliated with Steward Health Network and with Brockton Hospital.
